Finance & Operations Analyst
Location: Indianapolis
Archway Technology Partners is seeking an Analyst to join our Finance & Operations team. As an Analyst on the Finance & Operations team, the qualified candidate will provide accounting and support functions for the investment management client-base using the ATWeb platform. The primary responsibilities of this position will include:
- Detailed understanding of the client’s investment operations
- Working with clients to tailor ATWeb to client’s financial statements, investment returns, and partnership profit & loss flow through
- Maintain books and records on behalf of clients during various period closes
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of reporting results to clients
- Participate in the development of year-end financial statements and tax documentation
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve accounting issues and effectively communicate resolutions to clients
Analyst candidates must possess a strong desire to learn and comprehensively understand portfolio and partnership accounting principles. Candidates must also possess the ability to quickly comprehend customer inquiries and effectively communicate solutions in a timely manner. Finally, candidates must have the desire to be part of a small, growing company that maintains a fast-paced, dynamic culture. Listed below are the desired experience and/or skills demonstrated by a successful candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or MBA highly beneficial
- Practical knowledge of GAAP and reporting standards
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively
- Ability to comprehend and document business processes and workflows
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- Emphasis on organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Rigorous attention to detail
- Highly self-motivated
