Archway Technology Partners, the world’s leading provider of web-deployed solutions for investment professionals since 2001, is seeking a talented Sales Executive to play a critical and influential role in establishing the Archway brand in the marketplace and growing business through a professional, proactive, and aggressive sales effort.  Our flagship platform, ATWeb is a unique software solution that enables financial services professionals to track, aggregate and report on their investment portfolios.  Our clients are CPAs/accountants, portfolio managers and some of the industry’s leading family offices, hedge funds, traditional asset management funds, and investment advisors. 

Sales Executive candidates should be sales professionals with consultative experience selling to the financial services industry.  The candidate should be familiar with a complex sales process and approach.  In addition, ATWeb is a solution designed for use by portfolio managers, CPAs/accountants, fund administrators.  Experience selling to front and back office personnel and an understanding of the investment management reporting process and accounting functions is important.  We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, work hard and to play a significant role in building the success of Archway’s technology and services on the West Coast.

Job Responsibilities

  • After ramp up period, attain goals/quota.
  • Forecast accurately and develop the necessary pipeline to exceed quota.  Lead generation activities include sales origination through networking, cold calling, direct mail, and client referrals.
  • Work with Sales team to acquire requirements for sale prior to meetings.
  • Take sales leads from discovery through contract.
  • Schedule product demos for prospective clients.
  • Conduct software demonstrations for investment managers, CPAs/Accountants and fund administrators.
  • Coordinate with the Archway Services group to successfully transition prospects from pilots to clients.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience in a sales role is required. 
  • Experience in the financial services industry is required.
  • Prospect and build a pipeline:
    • Proficient at cold calling into various levels of an organization.
    • Proficient at gaining access into various levels of an organization.
    • Proficient at identifying the right opportunities and their appropriateness for entering the pipeline.
  • Proficient at handling objections, following up with solid answers to questions and keeping the sales process moving forward.
  • Successfully work within and speak about software, accounting, finance, and hardware technologies.
  • Deliver the Archway value proposition to multiple decision makers and influencers throughout the sales process.
  • Superior ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Superior oral, written and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
